MazaoHub Agclimate Ltd has received significant support from the Livelihood Impact Fund, marking a major milestone in its mission to transform rural farming communities. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to empowering smallholder farmers through precision agriculture and sustainable farming practices.
The funding will enable MazaoHub Agclimate Ltd to achieve three key objectives:
1️⃣ Expanding Access to Precision Agriculture.The investment will facilitate the rollout of innovative farming technologies and data-driven insights to underserved smallholder farmers. This will bridge the gap in access to modern agricultural tools, enhancing productivity across rural farming communities.
2️⃣ Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods. By equipping farmers with the tools and knowledge to improve yields and reduce costs, MazaoHub Agclimate Ltd is helping them embrace environmentally friendly practices that lead to sustainable economic growth.
3️⃣ Driving Community Impact. The initiative is set to bolster household incomes, improve food security, and enhance the resilience of rural farmers against climate and economic challenges.

Silabu representing Africa in Global EdTech Startup Awards
Silabu, a skill-learning and social networking app based in Tanzania, has emerged as one of the top global EdTech startups of 2024. The startup will represent Tanzania and Africa in the Global EdTech Startup Awards (GESAwards) finals during the Bett UK week in London, United Kingdom; the finals will take place on 23rd January 2025, at Bett Arena.
Silabu is one of the two African EdTech startups in the finals, alongside Metaschool AI from Ghana. As part of the preparations, the finalists have attended a two-day Global EdTech Startup Bootcamp at MindCET-EdTech Innovation Center providing them with practical tools and opportunities to grow their businesses.
Silabu offers one-to-one tutoring classes, group classes to share learning costs, and peer-to-peer classes to enable students to learn from friends for free. Additionally, they provide B2B services, allowing institutions and schools to administer online classes and other services through their web platform at a lower cost compared to using platforms like Zoom or Google Meet.
This remarkable achievement by Silabu paves the way for the startup ecosystem in Tanzania, gaining global recognition for addressing local challenges within communities.
