Tausi Africa, a leading Tanzanian company specializing in advanced financial risk management tools, has launched Manka, an innovative analytics platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI) designed to streamline and enhance credit assessment processes for financial service providers in Tanzania. By leveraging cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies, Tausi Africa aims to transform how creditworthiness is evaluated, making the process more efficient and accurate.
Manka, as Tausi Africa’s flagship product, addresses a crucial need in Tanzania’s financial sector: efficient and reliable credit evaluation. Traditionally, assessing an individual’s or business’s creditworthiness could take up to three hours. However, with Manka’s AI-driven insights, financial providers can now perform comprehensive assessments in under two minutes. This rapid turnaround not only reduces operational costs but also enables financial institutions to make faster lending decisions, ultimately benefiting both lenders and borrowers.
During the launch event, Tausi Africa highlighted its strategic partnership with Credit Info Tanzania, a key player in the credit information landscape. This collaboration aims to maximize Manka’s impact across Tanzania’s financial sector by combining Tausi Africa’s AI expertise with Credit Info Tanzania’s extensive credit data. Together, they envision a more inclusive and accessible credit environment, where financial service providers can make well-informed decisions that drive economic growth and stability.
