This ambitious vision is spearheaded by "Silicon Zanzibar," a public-private initiative that aims to lure tech companies and talent from across Africa and beyond. With a desire to diversify Zanzibar's economy beyond tourism, Silicon Zanzibar is actively building an ecosystem to attract entrepreneurs and investors.

This May from 15th in Fumba Town, Zanzalu, a five-week pop-up city event happening. This unique experiment aims to bring together African builders, investors, Ecosystem players and anyone curious about innovation to explore alternative urban models, and foster a collaborative spirit.
